Can you do what I do? I have had alot of people ask what it takes to become a Real Estate Sales person.

People are often surprised when I tell them what the requirements to become a Real Estate Salesperson in my area. There is a detialed intial liscencing process that involves taking several eductional courses before you even start to sell homes.

Then over the next two years after that initial liscencing I had to take additional courses before I was a fully liscenced sales representative.

I have to maintain liablility insurance and have to maintain membership in several professional organizations that police the activities of Realtors in Ontario.

Finally I am obligated to do continuing education courses to maintain my sales license. After all that I can try to represent buyers and sellers to the best of my ability.
